I just read over my very first post here and can't believe that time has moved so fast!

And I can't believe that the

HARVEST FOLKLORE FESTIVAL and CEMETERY STORYTELLING

is just around the corner!

We have soooo many things planned!

Gypsy Music with the Blind Goats, the 12th Regiment Civil War Soldiers,

Hay Wagon Rides, Darla the Goat,

Harvest Art Doll Challenge, Games, Fortunetelling, Artisans, Intricate Face Painting, 

Treats, Snacks and more!

And......

a most special treat of a quick bus ride to the Morgan Road Cemetery

for a tour of the old cemetery and gypsy ancestor storytelling!

Tranquility, balance, a reconnect with nature-

the honoring of Ancestors long passed-

the remembrance of our history and our culture-

and the silence of observation and respect 

reminding us of the rhythm of life...........

Join in the fun! CREATE (in advance) and DISPLAY a HARVEST ART DOLL!
Dolls created beforehand will be displayed during the Festival and
then at the Clay Town Hall throughout November!

That's the challenge: CREATE A HARVEST DOLL! ;)
You'll be amazed at the wonderful things that will turn out!
