FOLKART & WORDS in the CEMETERY

Folkart has long focused on the quiet and seemingly ordinary aspects of everyday life.

 Folk paintings and grave documentation go hand-in-hand with storytelling.

 Using an environment common to, but often overlooked by the community as a place of art,

 FOLKART & WORDS in the CEMETERY

is a workshop with a focus on creating a work of art incorporating these

 diverse, yet interconnected elements.

Just though I'd share our most wondrous cemetery program at Morgan last month.

I do so love my cemetery adventures.

It was so lovely to see everyone create in this serene spot.

Our folk musicians from HOMESLICE, Dan Cleveland & Ron VanNostrand

always bring joy and a touch of the old ways to our events.

I love Morgan Cemetery.
